Zonegran® is a drug that is used to control partial seizures. Evidence suggests that it works to stop seizure activity from starting and preventing it from spreading to other parts of the brain. The product is currently available in both brand-name and generic form.
 
The medicine comes in the form of a capsule and is generally taken once or twice a day. Common side effects of Zonegran include drowsiness, nausea, and headaches.
