Trileptal Side Affects

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Trileptal® (oxcarbazepine); however, not everyone who takes the medication will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate Trileptal quite well. Some common side effects of Trileptal include dizziness, drowsiness, and nausea.
 
Other Trileptal side effects, while less common, are more serious and should be reported to a healthcare provider immediately. A few of these side effects include worsening of seizures, signs of an allergic reaction, and hallucinations. You should also let your healthcare provider know if you experience anything that "just does not seem right" during treatment with Trileptal.
