Tranxene Side Effects

Commonly reported Tranxene side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, upset stomach, dry mouth, and headaches. While the exact percentage of people who may experience side effects is not known, side effects are typically minor and easily treated. However, some side effects of Tranxene are potentially serious and may require prompt medical attention. These include difficulty breathing, unexplained swelling, and severe dizziness.

An Introduction to Tranxene Side Effects

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Tranxene® (clorazepate dipotassium); however, not everyone who takes the medication will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider.

Tranxene is an older medication, approved many years ago. With newer medications, side effects are carefully documented, and the exact percentage of people that develop each side effect is known.
