Sabril Drug Interactions
Clonazepam and phenytoin may cause problems when used in combination with Sabril. Some of these drug interactions with Sabril could increase your risk for side effects or reduce the amount of the medications in the blood. Sabril can increase the level of clonazepam in your blood, perhaps increasing the risk for clonazepam side effects. Check with your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
Some studies suggest that Sabril may decrease the level of phenytoin in the blood. This should be taken into account when a person taking phenytoin starts or stops taking Sabril, or even during a Sabril dosage change.
