What If I Take an Overdose?

There is very little information available about the effects of an overdose with Oxtellar XR. Seek immediate medical attention if you or someone else may have taken too much of this or any other medication.

(Click Oxtellar XR Overdose for more information.)

How Should Oxtellar XR Be Stored?

This medication should be stored at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Store the tablets in a light-resistant container, with the lid tightly closed. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you forget to take your Oxtellar XR dose at the regular time, simply take the missed dose as soon as you remember (just make sure to take it at least one hour before or two hours after a meal). If it is almost time for your next dose, however, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose.

Alternative Treatments

Oxtellar XR is not the only treatment available for controlling partial seizures. Several alternatives exist, including other anti-seizure medications (see Oxtellar XR Alternatives).

Available Strengths

Oxtellar XR tablets are available in the following strengths:

  • Oxtellar XR 150 mg
  • Oxtellar XR 300 mg
  • Oxtellar XR 600 mg.

Can I Buy Generic Oxtellar XR?

This medication is not available in generic form at this time (see Generic Oxtellar XR).
