Epilepsy Home > Lyrica 150 mg Capsules

Nerve pain, epileptic seizures, or fibromyalgia can often be treated with Lyrica® (pregabalin) 150 mg capsules. However, your exact dosage will vary, based on several factors, such as the medical condition being treated, other medications you are taking, and other medical conditions you have.

For example, when treating postherpetic neuralgia (chronic nerve pain following an episode of shingles), the recommended starting dose is Lyrica 75 mg, taken twice daily, or Lyrica 50 mg, taken three times day. If necessary, your healthcare provider may increase your dose up to Lyrica 150 mg capsules twice daily or Lyrica 100 mg three times daily within the first week of treatment to better control pain. If you are still experiencing pain after two to four weeks, and are tolerating the drug well), your dose may be increased to 300 mg twice daily or 200 mg three times daily.
