Lyrica® (pregabalin) is a prescription medication that has been shown to be effective for relieving pain due to fibromyalgia, controlling partial seizures in people with epilepsy, and treating nerve pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy or postherpetic neuralgia. Before using the medication, make sure your healthcare provider knows if you are pregnant, have a bleeding disorder, or have heart disease. Potential side effects of Lyrica include coordination problems, drowsiness, and dizziness.
