Klonopin 1 mg

Klonopin® (clonazepam) is a benzodiazepine medication licensed for the treatment of epilepsy and panic disorder. It comes in several different forms and strengths, and is available by prescription only. Klonopin tablets are available in 0.5 mg, 1 mg, and 2 mg strengths; Klonopin wafers are available in the following strengths:
 
  • 0.125 mg
  • 0.25 mg
  • 0.5 mg
  • 1 mg
  • 2 mg.
     
Epilepsy Treatment
The recommended starting Klonopin dose for treating seizures in adults is 0.5 mg (or less) three times daily. If your seizures are not controlled at this dosage, your healthcare provider may increase your dose as necessary (such as to 1 mg Klonopin tablets or wafers). The maximum recommended dosage of this medication is 20 mg total daily, split up into three smaller doses per day.
 
Panic Disorder Treatment
The recommended starting dose for the treatment of panic disorder is 0.25 mg twice daily. Your healthcare provider may increase your dose, if necessary, to control your panic disorder symptoms.
