Keppra Drug Interactions

Keppra® (levetiracetam) is a prescription epilepsy medication used to treat certain types of seizures. Most seizure medications interact with many other medications. Keppra, however, is not likely to interact with other medications. This is a potential advantage of Keppra over other seizure medications. In studies, when Keppra was taken with certain other medications, no interactions occurred (or insignificant interactions, which are unlikely to cause problems, occurred).

However, Keppra has not been studied in combination with every medication. Therefore, it is possible that there are Keppra drug interactions that are not known at this time. Therefore, you should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about any specific Keppra interactions that may apply to you.
