Gabitril® is approved for use with other seizure medications to control partial seizures in people with epilepsy. Three studies have shown that the drug is effective for treating partial seizures in adults and children as young as 12 years old. Gabitril comes in the form of a tablet and is taken up to four times a day. Possible side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, and shakiness.
