Onfi Medication Information

OnfiTM (clobazam) is a drug used in combination with other medications to treat seizures in people with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS). As a type of benzodiazepine, it works to stop seizures by enhancing the effects of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a chemical within the brain. This medicine is approved for use in adults and children as young as two years old.

Onfi comes in tablet form and is taken once or twice daily. To help ensure safe treatment with Onfi, the medication's safety information should be reviewed before you start taking it. This medicine may not be suitable for everyone, so let your healthcare provider know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have certain medical conditions (such as depression or a history of drug or alcohol abuse), or have any allergies.
