Were you looking for information about Epilepsy? Epalepsy is a common misspelling of epilepsy.
Epilepsy is a disorder of the brain that can cause seizures. During an epileptic seizure, clusters of nerve cells, or neurons, in the brain signal abnormally, disrupting the normal pattern of neuronal activity. As a result, this disturbance can cause strange sensations, emotions, and behavior. In order to be diagnosed with this disorder, you must have had two or more seizures. For approximately 80 percent of those diagnosed with epilepsy, seizures can be controlled with medications and surgery.
