Were you looking for more information about Diazepam? Dizepam is a common misspelling of diazepam.
If you have
seizures, your healthcare provider may prescribe diazepam (
Valium®) in combination with other
seizure medications to help control your condition. The medication is also approved to treat muscle spasms,
anxiety, and alcohol withdrawal. By enhancing the effects of a certain brain chemical, diazepam may reduce anxiety, cause sleepiness, relax muscles, and stop seizures. The drug comes in tablet, oral liquid, and injectable forms, and is generally taken three or four times a day.
